Movie help?

southland tales

i saw on tv yesterday

that it said "Starts today"

meaning that it's now playing

and when i checked imdb.com

it said "2006"

and the release date is "November 14 2007"

and i checked

southgate edwards theater (cause i live near by)

it's not showing their..

so i checked

Bianchi Theater (paramount) that's another place i go more then the south gate one (even though i live in south gate)

it's not showing their too...

I'M CONFUSED

is it in theaters

or is it out on dvd and vhs?????

I'm guessing 'starts today' may be a tagline for the movie. Don;t know.

I'm thinking it might not be playing where you live. Some films are given limited release, then widely released later.

Or else is a direct to DVD release and wont be in theaters at all. That's my guess.

ok so it was released in germany in 2006 but its going to be released in the U.S. this year
I think it is opening in limited theatres and expanding as the weeks go on. Its not playing around me either.
