Southland Tales?

i saw on tv yesterday

that it said "Starts today"

meaning that it's now playing

and when i checked imdb.com

it said "2006"

and the release date is "November 14 2007"

and i checked

southgate edwards theater (cause i live near by)

it's not showing their..

so i checked

Bianchi Theater (paramount) that's another place i go more then the south gate one (even though i live in south gate)

it's not showing their too...

I'M CONFUSED

is it in theaters

or is it out on dvd and vhs?????

From what I can deduce from various message boards, the film is only being released at approx. 63 theaters in the states on the Nov 17 weekend. There is *possibility* it will be expanded to a wider release in December, but thats doesn't mean much...likely depends on how well the film does. A list of theaters is available on the official site. The 2006 date may be related to an early showing at some film fest.

Good chance we'll have to wait for DVD. :-(

Southland Tales?tickets opera theater

It's only in limited release. About 65 theaters to be exact. According to Box Office Mojo, it's not doing very good business, so I doubt it will expand to more theaters.
